Thank you for your interest in T.E.A.M. Arc! We are excited to offer an opportunity for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and people without I/DD to form relationships through shared volunteer work.
By joining T.E.A.M. Arc, you are helping us achieve our mission of supporting individuals with disabilities and their families in directing their own lives as valued members of the community. The Arc believes that every person should have the opportunity to achieve at the highest level of independence.
T.E.A.M. Arc members will spend most of their volunteer time at Thrifty Threads and Things Resale Shop. Thrifty Threads takes donations of gently used items from the community and sells them to support our mission. Some of the tasks you can expect to complete while at Thrifty Threads are: collecting and sorting donations, pricing donations, cleaning and dusting, working the cash register, bagging purchases, assisting customers, and supervising the child/toy room. Sometimes you will have a lot of chores to do and other times you will relax and ôhang outö with your T.E.A.M Arc partner!
